Details – Peachtree Hills

The lovely homes nestle into one-of-a-kind pockets.  Inviting country architecture weaves elegant cottages and 1920s bungalows together with English manor and modern international styles. Notice the huge trees overlooking colorful bungalows above Peachtree Creek.

Development began in 1910 between Village of Buckhead and the City of Atlanta. Today, Peachtree Hills includes 750 single-family homes, and many townhomes and condos.  Lots and homes are generally smaller than in surrounding areas.  This reduces prices, making Peachtree Hills a good place for young professionals to get a start in the Buckhead community.  Prices for single family homes begin in the $400,000s; most of the homes are priced under $800,000.

The Peachtree Hills Civic Association (PHCA) describes this as “one of Buckhead’s coziest neighborhoods.”  PHCA hosts events such as the spring barbecue and fall festival.  The Peachtree Hills Park includes a gym, community garden, playgrounds, walking paths, ball fields, and so forth.

Flourishing city amenities are also convenient.  Independent shops and restaurants along Peachtree Hills Avenue NE become a sort of village center at the intersection of Kings Circle.  People enjoy walking to Treehouse Restaurant or Bennett Street Design District, or even Peachtree Battle Shopping Center.  In Downtown Buckhead, they browse boutiques, get a bite to eat, and entertainment, or head south to Midtown or Downtown Atlanta for museums and shop.  Interstates 85 and Georgia 400 are close.
